About Us
It all comes down to experience. Jerri Munn, Principal Photographer Originally from California, Jerri began trying her hand with photography at the age of eight. By the time she was 12 years old, she was winning awards for her entries into art and photography shows.
At the age of 14 she began raising and showing horses, winning awards and ribbons in Showmanship and Equitation.
She has combined her love of horses with her lifelong passion for photography to develop her own unique style of Equine Portraiture.
With a professional career spanning more than 20 years, Jerri has continued to refine her photographic talents to provide outstanding photographs for her clients. She has the special patience required to get the best out of her subjects.   As former race car driver, Jerri knows what it is like to have to depend on critical timing to make the right decisions. She has honed this split second accuracy to give her an edge in the important world of event photography.
Douglas Munn, Digital GuruA Michigan native and the other half of the team, Doug has been involved in Event Photography for over 30 years with experience in computers and digital image processing for over 20 years. As an experienced Systems Engineer and Programmer he is responsible for keeping the digital side of the business in top working order. Working with Jerri, he has developed a number unique photographic services that are offered by Jerri Munn Photography to our clients. As an experienced wedding photographer and event photographer himself, Doug is able to assist Jerri in covering large events and offering a contrast of styles to their offerings. | |||

Since 1998, Jerri has lived in Jackson, MI, with her husband, Doug, four dogs, two cats and a small flock of ducks. She also owns two ex-race horses, Fortuitous Fred (“Fred”) and Salacious Seku (“Seku”).
